    I am considering installing self steering to my Seaforth 36, using the Raymarine EV-100 Wheel Pilot Pack system fitted to the wheel.  Does anyone have experience of the effectiveness of this type of system, particularly as my steering is rather heavy?  Thank you

    I have fitted an EV 1 to my Mac malin and for the money they are rubbish, much better with a hydraulic version directly from the rudder stock. Put it this way, I wouldn’t fit another one. Good luck with your choice 👍

    . When I contacted Force 4 they said the same as you.  I think I will just have to remain at the helm all the time!  Best wishes Charles
