    Hi all,

I found my Rowan Crown – I have undertaken to buy “Blue Sarenga” who currently belongs to Peter Sebire. I’ve put a deposit on her and we’re closing the deal on Friday. Quite excited about this!

No doubt i will have a flood of questions. Peter has been great but you never really know what you want to know till you start using the boat – Rowan Crown owners get ready!

The plan is to sail her locally for some days and get used to her ways before heading up to the Stour Sailing Club (assuming I’m a member by then) where she will be based.

I _do_ fit, only just – but much better than my current boat which has less than 5ft headroom!

    Cheers all,

    Roger.

Thanks Bob – I’ve been talking to Bryan on FB – actually at the moment I’m just looking for info – in particular to see if i would “fit” in a Rowan Crown better than my current Liberty 22 which has just 4ft 11ins of headroom – getting a bit fed up with it now, tbh, being 6ft 2ins myself! So I’m just hoping a Rowan Crown owner nearby is willing to let me go and insert myself…

However, assuming it’s sound, Bryan’s boat looks like a good deal. I know there was a previous version at 22ft called simply the Rowan, and Bryan refers to his as a “Rowan” but then states it’s 24ft which to me means it’s a “Rowan Crown”.

Oh well, I need to sell my Liberty 22 first, so there’s time to get more details.

    Thanks for the info.

    Cheers,

    Roger.
