    Can anyone tell me what these eyes were installed for? There is a pair at midship and when I got the boat had a short life line between them

    Could be for fenders or to tie springs to, or for a tender to be tied to.

    The two eyes are next to my Genoa track and was thinking the eyes may have been part of a previous arrangement to secure the Genoa sheet at the midship location.
