I’ve looked under the keels and seen a great many number of freestanding screws that stick out an inch. These aren’t supporting anything currently but I would guess they were at some point. A few posts on the internet point to the keels having ‘Shoes’
Can anyone tell me more about these?
Some people fitted shoes when they dry out on gravel, but it’s not very common.
Yours have obviously been removed or have worn away.
The screws could be cut off and then filled to avoid any leaks.
