Mac 27 registration number

Can anyone tell me if this is the Macwester manufactured serial number from my 1980 Mac 27. I would be interested if it is and then if I can establish if I have mk2 or mk3.

Hi Colin

My MW27 Mk2 sail number 696, was almost certainly moulded in the beginning of 1976, and has the deck number D27 138
Yours being just 11 boats later, I would say that that’s more likely to be later in 1976, or at the very latest early 1977.
unfortunately all of the works records were binned when Trident Marine went bust in the early 1980’s
