    Hello all,

    does anyone know the size of thr cutlass or shaft bearing on the Mcwester 1979 ? is it metric or impérial ? thanks for your answears 🙂

    Hi you will have to measure your shaft but it will not be metric

    as it may not be the original shaft

    yes that’s what I was thinking, I’ll check the size of the shaft first. Thanks for the answear.

    The supplier was T Norris. That is a long established firm, they may even have records of what they sold to Macwester at that time.

    Cutless Bearings

    The shaft is 1 inch. The cutlass bearing support is type 007 in their catalogue
