Hi, I’m new to the association,

I recently got a Macwester 26 that has just been lifted out to begin work.

Has anyone got any recommendations of things to look for? Or bits to upgrade?

    Hi Toby,

My advice would be to change all sea cocks and skin fittings, all rubber pipes and clips, remembering to put double clips on the sea cock end.
Check stern gear and repack stern tube.
Check rudder for bearings and check all rigging.
Check that gas installations meet current standards/regulations.
    Get electrician to check electrics.
