    Hi there, the MacWester Owners’ Association are working on a register of MacWesters. Hopefully this will help -we’ll let you know when we have some progress.

    Hi Leonard,

    I’m also with Rob in deliberately not having a FaceBook account. Have you posted your stories on the Association forum?

    I haven’t had time to look through them all, but they sound really interesting.

    Hola Vicente,

    I’m sorry, I can’t write Spanish or Portuguese, though I can read (un poco) it.

    I don’t think the vessel in your photograph is a seaworthy or any kind of MacWester. Windows are too high and the curves are wrong. Also, very rare to find bow sprits on MacWesters.

    Hi Tony,

    Do you have the Lloyds list number for her? (It’s the wooden plaque -see John’s first photo) if so, then you might be able to get info from them?

    definitely looks like a 27 (external rudder but all the shape of a 26). As a member of a family who has had a long love affair with MacWesters, welcome to the association!

    I hope you have managed to find time around lockdowns to spend a bit of time on her.
