Hi Colin, sorry for the delay in getting back to you, yes it was a 3 blade prop.

I am sure the tech team at beta would advise you.

Hi Mate, my Stag 28 with the bd722 was sized for 13″x 9″ p , however a 12″ x 10″ pitch should be equally as efficient if you need a bigger clearance, it must be a Right hand prop preferably with a 25mm dia shaft as opposed to the old 1″ dia shaft

I have fitted an EV 1 to my Mac malin and for the money they are rubbish, much better with a hydraulic version directly from the rudder stock. Put it this way, I wouldn’t fit another one. Good luck with your choice 👍

David, I had problems acquiring imperial fasteners whilst in the canal du midi as my old Volvo penta had. Try visiting your nearest John Deare tractor as they carry all sorts of imperial/US equivalent. If not grab a Zeus engineers handy thread sizing booklet. You will be able to identify the pitch, distance between thread tops from a tabulation, a Vernier caliper would be also needed.

I am hoping to replace the keel shoes on my Malin over the winter months, just wondering if anyone has a template for the profiles required to replace,

Hi Cameron, did you manage to get the pedestal off, i am currently working on a new wheel pilot system and I may encounter the same issues on the Malin, and would be keen to hear how you got on,

    Regards Stuart
